About

EN The Danish Cultural Institute and The Danish Church invite you to a movie night in the church as the darkness falls upon us. The Danish drama “The Commune” from 2016, directed by Thomas Vinterberg, is a declaration of love to a generation of idealists and dreamers. With the family at the centre of the story, Vinterberg invites us into the dream of setting up a real commune in the year 1975. For her role in “The Commune”, Trine Dyrholm was the first Dane to win the Silver Bear for Best Actress at the Berlinale.
The film screens with English subtitles and we welcome you to bring all your non-Danish speaking friends and share a great cinematic experience with them.
